Sonshine Electric is a Christian owned and operated electrical company in Arvada, CO. Sonshine serves the entire Denver Metro area and the Rocky Mountain region.
Sonshine Electric was founded in 2004 by Arlyn Mund. Before that, he spent years as an electrician working for others; one contractor who has known him for two decades wrote that he watched Arlyn “grow from an employee to having his own business.” Arlyn has held a Colorado electrical license since 1986.
Known for troubleshooting
Arlyn’s experience covers all types of residential electrical work and a variety of commercial jobs, but the thing people remember is troubleshooting. On many occasions he has found the problem after other electricians could not. That comes from patience and method: testing, tracing, and understanding how a house was actually wired, not how it was supposed to be.
Seth Mund
Arlyn’s son Seth started out as an electrical apprentice with Sonshine and has since earned his Colorado master electrician license.
The name and the cross
Look closely at the logo and you’ll see the “O” in Sonshine is a circle with a cross inside. Sonshine is a Christian owned and operated company, and the name says so. In practice that looks like the words lettered on the van: honest, dependable service, for every customer.
